Great Energy Efficiency Day 2012- Part II
Capitol Hill

On October 3, join the Alliance for Great Energy Efficiency Day - Part II, as members of the Alliance Commission on National Energy Efficiency Policy (EE Commission) unveil a highly anticipated series of reports documenting the current state of energy efficiency in the U.S. economy and best local, state, national, and international practices. The EE Commission, a diverse, bipartisan group, aims to reach consensus on a set of federal policies and other actionable recommendations to double energy productivity by 2030 to make the United States one of the world’s most energy-efficient economies. Report topics to be discussed include:

-Community Planning & Mobility
-Residential & Commercial Buildings
-Industry Products & Processes
-Power Generation & Smart Grid
-Systems Integration

Members of the EE Commission will discuss highlights from the reports and how they will serve as the basis to drive to the EE Commission’s final set of policy recommendations. Don't miss your chance to hear the report details directly from the leaders in energy and environmental policy spearheading this landmark initiative.

GEED II will be held in conjunction with the 20th annual Evening with the Stars of Energy Efficiency Awards Dinner. For more information about either event, visit ase.org/events
